Today, for you, I have a post about clarity in communication.

If you are having a conversation with someone and you do not understand what it is they are trying communicate ask for clarity through questions that bring you the ability to feel confident that you understand what it is that the person is trying to communicate or having asked enough questions attempting to clarify and still not clear not prematurely consider that it is not your inability to understand but the person not being able to successfully share what it is they are attempting to communicate in a clear way that perhaps nobody would understand them.

The point is without first attempting to ask some questions that might clarify it is probably not in your best interest or for the best interest of the potential for progress of the conversation to not attempt to clarify and to not assume without attempting to clarify that the person is not effectively communicating in a way that you would be able to understand.

Patience can help along the way when seeking clarity but also have confidence when you feel like you have asked enough questions to clarify to move on from seeking clarity due to the possibility clarity will not be found through questions. This does not mean however that it is not possible through an alternate presentation from the communicator (they try a different way and perhaps it works rather than continue to try the same way).

Today, for you, I have a post about the Indiana Hoosiers winning the NCAA Football Championship last night in Miami, Florida.

Interestingly enough the Hoosiers defeated the Miami Hurricanes who were by chance playing on there home field as it was predetermined previous to the start of the season that the championship game would be held in Miami.

A few years ago when Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay or “Tompa Bay” Buccaneers won the Super Bowl it was on there home field in Tampa and that was actually the first time a team hosted a Super Bowl on there home field believe it or not (it took over 50 years for that to happen).

Last night Miami had a shot to win at home however Indiana were the victors.

It was a great game and it was competitive throughout. Miami had multiple chances to win late in the game (or at least take the lead) and it kept things exciting.

I predicted Indiana would win and because I had no dog in the fight with the Spartans and Wolverines both watching the game at home like me so I was just hoping to see a good game and it did not disappoint.

I know you watched the game and I am looking forward to speaking with you about it.

By the way, a “Hoosier” is someone from Indiana.

The plan for this semester originally was to take the classes that I discussed with my team at school so that is what I did.

It turns out I will not be needing to take one of them so I have one less class this semester.

I will think of something to do with that free time considering I already went from 5 classes last semester to only now 3 from 4.

I will give you an update after the next class starts later next week.

Now instead of the phone number to a pizza delivery spot it can be an expression of your art or a reminder of something other than pizza.

Just “food for thought” when it comes to this refrigerator magnet tip.

I have mentioned some of the channels under my subscriptions on YouTube previously and today I am mentioning one in particular because I think you might enjoy it.

It is called “Beard Meats Food”.

It features a guy from Europe who visits various mom and pop restaurants to compete in there food challenges that requires an enormous meal to be eaten in under a specific amount of time.

The types of meals you might see on the channel are something that you would see a group of people sharing together and what type of food it might be includes pretty much all types you can think of including international cuisine.

Today, for you, I have another STEAM post.

Here is something quick that may be useful one day to know about using STEAM to assist in this example with mechanical leverage in order to assist you in moving something heavier than you would be able to without using this technique.

If one were to find themself in a situation where one of there legs was pinned by a fallen tree that was to heavy for them to lift off of their leg they may still have the strength to lift the tree using what is around them.. Maybe here is another branch close by that you can easily lift that is able to be wedged in between what your leg is pinned between and use your same strength and lift the tree off your leg.

When using what it was that was pinning you down to assist getting yourself unpinned you were using mechanical leverage you combined your physical strength and mental strength by remembering something you thought may be useful and when the opportunity presented itself you were able to get yourself unstuck using all your resources available.

Hopefully you never NEED to use something to get unpinned but you will likely have plenty of useful opportunities to utilize that shared today.

Today, for you, I have a post about something I was thinking about today and that is the special bond that exist between humans and dogs.

I think that it is amazing how special a relationship between a human and an animal can be when you consider that the relationship exist between two different species of the animal kingdom and neither of the species can speak the other’s language.

Although neither species can speak the other’s language they do still have the ability to communicate.

Who knows exactly how a dog might see the world but I can say with confidence dogs do not see the world the way humans do.

With two separate perspectives of existence, a language barrier and separate ways of fundamentally interacting with the environment around them a bond between the two can be as strong as two people of the same species who grew up together and were life long friends that share both a common language, perspective of existence, way to approach interacting with the world and the ability to relate to experiences.

The example of the bond between humans and dogs is to me a symbol of the potential that exist for other mutually beneficial bonds between other species to include those yet to be encountered.
